Palin on SNL...No Really
Sarah Palin's much-anticipated Saturday Night Live appearance scored the late-night show's biggest overnight ratings since the Clinton Adminstration.
Total audience numbers weren't yet available, although it sounds as if there might have been as many viewers as there were cameos—by Alec Baldwin, Mark Wahlberg, Tina Fey (as Palin), and, of course, Palin (as Palin).
NBC said SNL enjoyed its best numbers in the nation's top TV markets since a post-Olympic, post-knee-clubbed Nancy Kerrigan hosted in 1994.
Palin's appearance came after Fey spoofed the Alaskan governor and Republican veep contender on three earlier SNL shows.

And finally, this song is swesome! I downloaded it this morning and I've listened to it non stop for half an hour!
In a recent interview on Australian TV show Rove [live], Kylie Minogue told Rove that her and her sister, Dannii had recorded a song that would give her the #1 spot again amongst the gay fans after she had dropped to #2!
The Winner Takes It All is the classic Abba song with a Minogue twist! I'm not sure as yet if it's to be released as a single? but, it is featured on the Beautful People soundtrack!
This track is AWESOME! Welcome back the queens of pop and camp!

She's pregnant...AGAIN?!
According to unidentified sources, Jamie Lynn didn't know a woman can get pregnant while breast-feeding. (Because mother's milk is a sure-fire contraceptive?)
“Jamie Lynn is eight weeks pregnant right now, and she and her mum [Lynne Spears] are hysterical,” revealed a close source.
Of course, the National Enquirer is the main source of these stories.
However, TMZ is now reporting that Jamie Lynn is not preggers! And they want someone to go get Lynn Spears down off the roof.
Shall we arrange for that shipment of condoms to the Spears family home or wait until this upsetting rumor is proved absolutely true or totally false?

Former Mr Gay Uk fries lover's flesh
A former Mr Gay UK murdered his lover, cooked his flesh and tried to eat it, a court has heard.
Anthony Morley (pictured left), 35, is accused of stabbing Damian Oldfield, 33, in a frenzied knife attack in the bedroom of his Leeds apartment.
Mr Morley, a former chef, denies murdering Mr Oldfield.
The court heard that after the killing Mr Morley cleaned himself up before cutting out a piece of his victim's leg and seasoning it with herbs, frying it in olive oil and chewing it.
DNA tests proved that six pieces of cooked flesh on a chopping board, and another found in a bin bag, were cut from Mr Oldfield.
Saliva on the discarded piece of flesh matched the defendant.
On the night of the murder in April this year, the court heard the pair swapped intimate text messages with Mr Morley saying he had "never been properly happy being gay".
Mr Oldfield, who was openly gay and described as flirtatious, replied "try me ... I'm not your average poof".
Mr Morley said he "wanted to take it slow", but the pair returned to his bedroom that night after drinking heavily.
The victim's naked body was found on the bedroom floor surrounded by blood.
Forensic analysis showed sexual activity had taken place between the men.
The court was told that after chewing Mr Oldfield's flesh, Mr Morley walked to a nearby takeaway restaurant in a dressing gown and thongs and told staff he had killed someone.
He has claimed Mr Oldfield tried to rape him and he had acted in self defence.
When asked how he stopped Mr Oldfield's advances, the jury was told he replied "I'm a chef, how do you think I stopped him?"
Mr Morley allegedly slit his lover's throat before stabbing him repeatedly in the back and chest.
Police believe Mr Oldfield was attacked from behind with two knives from the downstairs kitchen as he lay under the bed's covers.
His throat was slit and a piece of his chest and nipple was cut away before a bank card was placed over the wound.
Idol plays tribute to Kereama
Former Australian Idol stars have paid tribute to former contestant and crowd favourite Levi Kereama following his sudden death at the weekend.
The 27-year-old singer was found dead after a falling from a Brisbane hotel balcony on Saturday night, after he had attended the Parklife music festival in the city's Botanic Gardens.
Idol runner-up Shannon Noll, who was part in the final six with Kereama in the show's first season, told the Daily Telegraph he was "deeply shocked by the news" of his death.
"My heart goes out to his family," Noll said.
Original Idol winner Guy Sebastian was too devastated to comment to the Telegraph about his friend's death. It is understood Sebastian was performing in Queensland when told of Kereama's death and has been trying to contact his family to comfort them.
Meanwhile Idol hosts Andrew G and James Mathison paid tribute to Kereama's time on the show in 2003 during last night's broadcast.
Police are treating his death as "non-suspicious". Kereama's family yesterday denied the singer had committed suicide.
"Investigations have revealed the tragic loss of Levi was an accident," the post read.
"Our beloved Former Australian Idol contestant Levi Kereama did not leap to his death, as reported," the post said.
"Furthermore we would clearly like to clarify, Levi was NOT suffering depression.
"He was a happy, outgoing, lively and loving friend, brother, son, uncle and cousin.
"He loved being with friends, fulfilling his passion of music, and making people laugh.
It is not clear what "investigations" the family were referring to.

Two great cover versions to download
Australian Idol contestant found dead
The 2003 series contender had earlier performed at the Parklife music festival and was believed to be suffering from depression.
When the 27-year-old jumped, hotel guests mistakenly believed they had seen furniture being thrown from the building.
"We thought it was like a computer desk or a coffee table or something being thrown out the window," Grace Pearce told National Nine News.
Kereama rose to fame as a baby-faced contestant in the first series of the popular reality TV show, making the final 12 through a wildcard entry, before has was eliminated in sixth place.
His music career continued and he scored a record contract, releasing several singles in 2004.
70 songs for Beyonce's new album
After recording over 70 songs, Beyonce is set to release her new album next month. Yes, an astonishing SEVENTY SONGS. Here’s what she just release via her official website:
“I wanted to address my fans about my upcoming album. I have worked on this album for close to one year. I have taken the time so I can create my sound. Something that says who I am at this stage in my life. I have poured my heart and soul into it. It is my baby. It is the most time I have spent on any project since my first records as a member of Destiny’s Child when I was 15 years old. I have recorded over 70 songs and have created a sound that reveals all of me. I am in a different place right now and I wanted people to see the many sides of me. The music is upbeat for the dance, fun side and it is reflective, passionate and serious for the personal side. I have taken risks here. I am not afraid and my music will explain it all. There is no label or tag on my sound. It’s me and I am so excited to share it with the world on November 18. Love, BeyoncĂ©”
How many of those 70 will make the cut? We shall see! It was previously announced that two tracks from Beyonce’s album, “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies,” will be released in advance of the LP on October 7.

Daniel Radcliffe Back in Equus
Daniel Radcliffe is now reprising the role on Broadway, and this time reviewers are concentrating on his able performance in the play first performed at the National Theater in London in 1973.
Ben Brantley of The New York Times said Radcliffe, 19, wore his part of a suburban stableboy who commits grotesque crimes against horses "like a tailor's delight -- that is, a natural fit that allows room to stretch."
"Like many beloved film actors Mr. Radcliffe has an air of heightened ordinariness, of the everyday lad who snags your attention with an extra, possibly dangerous gleam of intensity," wrote Brantley, adding his "Alsatian-blue gaze" helped his convincing performance.
USA Today carried the headline "'Equus': Radcliffe revealed as a serious actor" as reviewer Elysa Gardner said "the Harry Potter star puts to rest any arguments that his appeal should be limited to moony adolescents and maudlin grown-ups."
Like other reviewers, Gardner said Radcliffe's performance outshone the production.
"In his impressive debut in a major stage role, as the disturbed adolescent in 'Equus,' Daniel Radcliffe significantly helps overcome the fact that Peter Shaffer's 1975 Tony winner doesn't entirely hold up," said Variety.
While most reviews centered on praising Radcliffe's performance, some made reference to the nakedness that caused such a stir in London.
"Radcliffe, despite the visceral physicality of the role, appears supremely comfortable in his own skin -- and yes, kids, thanks to the nude scene, we get to see all of it," said Newsday's reviewer Linda Winer, who also called the London-born Radcliffe "a smart, intense, wildly serious stage talent."
Variety noted Radcliffe had been criticized by some London critics for a lack of vocal control but said an extra year and a half of maturity may have helped.
"His delivery here is as confident and compelling as his febrile physicality -- whether fully clothed and wary or naked and defenseless," said David Rooney.
Brantley noted the similarity between Radcliffe's role in "Equus" and that of Harry Potter with both characters coming of age "in a menacing, magical world where the prospect of being devoured by darkness is always imminent."
Radcliffe will return to the boy wizard role soon when he begins filming the final Potter movie, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."
